Job Description

• Configure and manage routers, switches, and network devices to optimize performance and reliability.
• Ensure the high availability of Network services and be attentive to changes happening in environment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose & resolve software & hardware related issues reported.
• Hands on experience on static routing, route redistribution, route filter, multicast, routing protocol and troubleshooting of BGP, OSPF or EIGRP and MPLS technology.
• Knowledge and experience on DC/DR technology.
• Communicate network related outages and take part in crisis meetings via conference calls.
• Outstanding customer service skills. Feel comfortable working with customers and vendors on the phone or face to face.
• Apply patches and updates to network devices as required.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Generate network performance reports and provide insights to management.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity problems, and take proactive measures to address network outages.
• Willingness to work any shift.

Primary skills

• Knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, ICMP, RIP, ARP), routing, switching, filtering.
• Working experience on ASR and ISR routers, L3 catalyst4500/6500 chassis, Catalyst Switches and nexus-5k/7k chassis switch- VRF, SVI, VSS, – L3 EtherChannel

Secondary Skills

• Network devices to optimize performance and reliability.
