Use Dark Mode to Make Scrolling on Your Phone Easier

Scrolling on an Android device causes less strain on the eyes when using the Dark Mode feature. This feature is available from Android 10 and onwards. however, you have to turn it on in order to get the best experience when using your phone. Today we’ll be covering how to Use Dark Mode to make scrolling on your phone easier Read on to find out!

To start off swipe down on your phone twice. This will bring up the Notification Bar! Then, tap on the Settings icon in the bottom right of the bar. It should be denoted by the little gearbox sign as depicted in the picture above.

Next, you’ll see the settings menu wherein you have to tap Display. Furthermore, tapping this will bring up a menu to customize various options.

Display is the name of the game here. Tap it!

Here there are a few basic options to play around with regarding your display. In this case, however, we’re looking for features in the Advanced section. Tap the advanced option to open up the additional features.

So, moving forward you’ll come across the aforementioned advanced features. This includes, yes, you guessed it…Dark Mode. Tap the switch icon or even just the area where it says Dark Mode, and it’ll switch it on for your device, giving it a nice gradient like look which is super cool.

Tapping on Dark Mode should enable the feature for your phone, but that’s not all! If you’re looking to invoke the feature in an even easier fashion, consider adding the Dark Mode option as a shortcut on the notification bar.
Here’s how!

Firstly, swipe down to bring the notification bar up once more. This time, we’re looking for the edit feature. It’ll be denoted by the pencil icon on the bottom left.

The bar should expand. Here’s where you’ll see a ton of other options, each that can be dragged up to the list you already have.

Scroll through these items till you find Dark Mode, then drag it to the top of your already existing options.

Dragging the option will add the Dark Mode feature to all the others present. Your notification bar should now look like this:
